what if i make a mistake?

right now is your time to worry.

think about what is currently weighing on you.

allow your mind to explore all of your hypotheticals —

what if it doesn’t go well?

what if i make a mistake?

what if i realize that isn’t what i truly wanted from the get go?

feel how you feel about what is currently giving you a run for your sanity, fam.

sit in the discomfort of anxiety, fear of the unknown, uncertainty, +/or whatever other feeling sprouts up during this time.

grab your journal, a piece of paper, or your phone with your notes + write down two things:

why
you want to do this + why it’s important for you to do this well.

now, put your notebook, paper, or device away + forget about it.

you’ve done all that you can do.

you’ve given yourself space to stress + grieve.

you’ve ran through the possibilities.

you’ve remembered your why.

let go of the rest.

your subconscious self knows how to move forward in all of this, especially since the last thing you recalled is your why.

so, go enjoy your life.

do something that evokes joy, that gets you moving, + gets your mind off your situation.

accept that the answer is coming to you.

as time goes on, an answer will come.

don’t dismiss it because it sounds outlandish or impossible —

receive what comes your way + be willing to think on things without judgement.

give yourself space to explore new possibilities, fam.

you want what you want + life wants to give it to you.

it’s okay to have a worry before releasing those thoughts it into the wild.

know that all things will be revealed in time + the only way to deal with the worrying feelings are to first fully feel them.

feel free to use this mantra to get you through worrying times:

it’s all a part of the process.

because it is. it’s all good.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

write everything down that’s been buggin’ you about a current situation you’re facing. once you’ve ruminated over it, explored the possibilities, + even rejected some solutions you deem unfit, write down your why —

why i want to do this?
why it’s important for me to do this well?

then let it all go. release it + give it time to reveal itself to you.
