“they are being kind — what’s the motive?”
“why did it have to rain/snow today?”
“what did they mean by that exactly? sounds like a sneak diss” 🤔
“this moment feels too real, too good to be true.”
don’t get stuck in your head, fam.
moments are to be enjoyed, to be lived in — not overanalyzed.
being too much into your head is causing you to miss out on the moments that matter.
you’re walking hand + hand with someone you care for + your mind isn’t holding onto the intimacy + trust you’re building with said person — no.
it’s worried about what you’ll cook tonight,
where your next dollar will come from,
+/or
what people around you think about pda.
today, feel + embrace the moments.
bask in the joy of living + of being.
laugh from the gut,
smile + lock eyes just a tad bit longer,
+
feel the sunshine on your face or the crisp breeze (read frigid winds) reminding you that you’re still here, still breathing, still living, still being.
just as the sun sets, moments will not last forever.
today, when your mind wanders, ask yourself:
what is happening in this moment?
bring yourself back to center, back to here + now, + experience the richness of living life fully + unapologetically.
now is the place where joy resides, peace abides, + love is overflowing + the only way you will receive this present is by remaining present.
be you, be dope!
