why be bitter when you can be better?

the taste of bitterness is foul + off-putting.

tasting that funk has a visceral effect on your body, too —

your face scrunches up

+

in attempts to get the taste out of your mouth, your tongue automatically protrudes + recoils

+

your mouth produces saliva like it’s no one’s business!

your body ain’t tryna ingest that mess, either, fam.

it’s time you listen to it.

today, when you feel bitterness creeping into your space, allow your body to notice the discomfort + release it back into the wild.

there are tons of happenings in this world that can lease a bad taste in your mouth, there will be some very tough pills to swallow, yet you can choose to no longer savor the flavor of what is unfavorable to ingest.

choosing to be affected by the bitterness you encounter is a choice.

punishing yourself by abhorring ill-feels is a choice that you can simply pass up on + decide to choose different; to forgive + move accordingly.

the past is the past, fam + at this point, there ain’t shit you can do to change what has happened.

you can, however, choose to enjoy all of the goodness life has to offer, bar bitterness from your heart, + live a rich, full, + flavorful life.

why be bitter when you can choose to be better?

the choice is always yours.

be you, be dope!
