will you callous your heart?

not all people will respond to you positively, no matter what you do.

you may have the best of intentions + do a radically dope deed, + still the person you did it for may not care about what was done (especially when the impact doesn’t match the intent).

does that mean you callous your heart?

does it mean you start acting mean, nonchalant, + apathetic?

today, don’t be swayed by the criticisms or the praise.

people will like what you do today + hate what you do tomorrow, so do you simply give up to avoid all their rhetoric?

find a place of contentment within what you do + why you do it.

you will not please everyone.

the goal isn’t to make sure everyone cares or appreciates what you do.

be a dope human.

apologize when you offend,

forgive + let go,

+ love in spite of.

life has so much in store for you for you to decide that one person’s discontent will be the reason you stop moving on purpose with purpose + give up altogether.

moving with intention + ease means recognizing that who you decide to show up as must match who you are inside in order for alignment to have a chance.

what others think, do, + say — that’s on them.

who do you choose to be today, fam?

be you, be dope!
