worrying reaffirms this one thing:
you’re a glutton for punishment.
not only do you worry at the inception of an idea,
but you worry during the process while undergoing the process,
+ when the process is over + done, you worry about the validity of the whole thing —
will it stay as it is or will it magically morph into something else, something less favorable, + you’ll have to start again?
you worry about what others think, do, + say.
you even worry about things you cannot control.
worrying is pointless.
all it does is take it through mental agony multiple times over + to benefit what, exactly?
nothing.
nothing at all because worrying doesn’t change the outcome, it changes our brain + body chemistry making it almost impossible to think + act like we’ve got some damn sense!
“i worry because i care” is a sentiment we sometimes use to justify our anxieties.
life doesn’t need our worry, though, fam. it needs our trust, our acceptance, + our ability to take action.
today, write down all your worries — every last one of them that you’ve got swirling through your mind right now, write it down on paper.
read them out loud, process what you’ve read, + then envision every thing you mentioned working out, falling into place, + in a state of resolution.
you walk around knowing the ending of the story, knowing that it all works out in the end, yet your worrying actions are not aligning with this truth.
give your hope the last word, the final say in what happens in your life by not only believing, but by acting as if life is working for your highest good… because guess what?
it is.
be you, be dope!

how does it feel to know you’ve/life has taken care of all of your worries?
