not you caught an attitude with someone + since they decided to give one back your day is now ruined!
not you having a misstep this morning + now you’ve thrown the whole day away!
not you finding fault in today + running with feeling slighted while you complain about what happened to everyone who has ears for the remainder of the day!
what happened in that moment has passed, fam.
now that you’ve exaggerated the story + how you feel about what happened in that moment, come back down to reality.
two things can be true:
1) you can feel a way in a moment
+
2) you can let it go + enjoy the rest of your day
in this moment, you can choose to confront the problems + correct the mistakes, + ultimately move forward with your life.
hell, you can even laugh about what happened, reminding yourself that in this moment, different opportunities await you + you are, in fact, fine.
today, separate what is from what is not.
realize that something did happen + choose to correct it in the moment + leave it in the past for good.
it’s your choice to make a mountain out of molehill.
use your best efforts to minimize the mistakes + mental gymnastics you’re putting yourself through instead of exaggerating + exacerbating the problem.
let it go.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
be honest: did whatever happen that you didn’t like inconvenience you to the point of inaction? can you do something different about it now? can you let it go? why or why not?
