when a seemingly once in a lifetime opportunity arises + we don’t act on it, sometimes we are left feeling remorse + regret.
instead of wrestling with regret, picture this as an alternative:
now that you see the power of opportunity, use this time to get ready for a new one —
one that’s better + more suited for you to experience + enjoy.
when we get to the root of why we feel regretful after passing on an opportunity, it’s usually because we see others basking in its payout.
they took a chance + scored big time, doing something we decided not to do in the moment.
please remember: what others have is for them, fam.
celebrate their wins, for what they’ve earned from opportunities shows you the potential + possibilities that are available to you, too.
you weren’t ready then, but you are now.
the perfect opportunity will find you + now that you’ve seen the power of possibility, you can move forward with foresight of what it takes to make the most of it.
opportunities will come + go, fam.
what’s important is that you lean into now + be willing to act + move accordingly when the time comes.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
what decisions are you more harshly judging for not making in the past? in what ways does this regret inspire you to move differently? given another chance (which is the present), what opportunities are you currently entertaining?
