the spirit of your past self may have a strong presence today.
you may say some of the things you used to say,
do the things you used to do,
+ go the places you used to go,
knowing damn well these things don’t align with the you you aspire to be.
stop aspiring to be someone you’re not willing to give a chance to become + start believing the person you are right now.
believe that they can change when they are ready to change.
believe that they know what’s best for them + are doing the best they can do right now.
believe that regardless of the optics right now, life is looking up for this person.
believe in yourself + give yourself a chance to be who you are today.
no more becoming.
no more pressuring yourself to do this + that because someone told you it’s what’s best for you.
no more giving yourself the blues for not living up to your impossible to please standards.
the past versions of you are proud of how far you’ve come, fam.
they believed in this version of you, knew the shift was happening in them + accepted the changes you’ve implemented into your life.
this version of you knows how to do that, too.
you will yield to what’s ahead for you.
when you’re ready, you will do what needs to be done.
believe in you.
believe in your power.
believe in your transformation.
you don’t have to force yourself to be different —
flow into what’s next for you with ease + with grace.
+ when you’re ready, go for what you most desire.
trust — you’ll know when it’s time.
be you, be dope!
