you don’t have to do anything.
in a world full of choices, you get to do whatever you want.
you get to earn some money today.
you get to stay limber and fit.
you get to breathe + check your attitude before cursing someone out.
when you have to do something, it’s obligatory.
you aren’t choosing, you’re taking directive.
with this mindset, there’s usually a lack of enthusiasm to do the task since it’s not your will to do it.
however, when you get to do something bayyybeeeeee —
there’s passion. there’s drive.
you feel it’s your time to shine.
you want to do it + you’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen!
you’re grateful for the opportunity + of course you want to do your best —
think about it: tomorrow isn’t promised.
there’s no guarantee that you’ll get to do it again!
reframe your mindset + reclaim responsibility.
you’re grown AF, fam.
no one is making you do any of this shit you say you have to do when you don’t consent to doing.
life is to be lived with wonderment + passion + enjoyment —
why not do the things that you most desire doing?
to operate on a level of “my life, my rules” taking responsibility is a must.
you don’t like the path you’re on?
you don’t like the shit you do day in + day out?
you feel obligated instead of motivated?
change direction.
you get to choose how you spend your time + energy.
you get to live life on your own terms.
act accordingly.
be you, be dope!
