when you’re in the position to choose giving your best or taking the easy route,
choose giving your best.
giving your best isn’t always the easier thing to do.
it requires intention.
it requires patience.
it requires an open heart.
it requires attention to detail.
it requires you to take responsibility + to be accountable for what you put out there.
i know, fam — sounds like a lot to consider!
with less to consider, it definitely makes the easier option look more appealing.
it wouldn’t be called your best when it’s not met with a high caliber level of focus + effort, now would it?
otherwise, it’d be called “do whatever + see if it sticks” + that’s… that’s a messier road to travel.
not only does it lack clarity, cleaning up that mess turns out to be more of a burden than anything. 😩
serving others + giving them your best efforts is your birthright; both a pleasure + a privilege.
you know you don’t have to do it, rather you get to do something kind + thoughtful which means so much more than feeling obligated since it’s birthed out of the kindness of your heart.
it’s easy to complain + do nothing, yet it takes a confident person, one who understands the power of their choices, to do what adds value, meaning + purpose.
what are you willing to give? do what brings out your best.
be you, be dope!
