be specific about your life

do you know what you want?

even when you don’t know what you want, surely you know what you don’t want.

today, be specific in the ways you think about your life.

identify what you want by name.

when you don’t have a name for what you want, explore in thought what you don’t want to help you further identify what it is that you do want.

you may not be fond of something you’ve experienced before, + because you haven’t experienced anything else you simply don’t know what’s out there for you, therefore making it tough to say you don’t want something when you have no clue what it may be.

in those situations, honor your openness + your flexibility with where life is taking you right now on this path to your goal.

that way, you are still specific about what you want to accomplish, yet you are open to the possibilities + the opportunities available to you.

praying for a million dollars is cool, but how specific is that prayer, fam?

what do you need right now?

$115.38 for this cell phone bill?

$9284.47 for that new-to-you car?

$25 for this bank overdraft fee?

be specific in your prayers, your petitions, your thoughts, your intentions — in every thing you do!

every decision you make today brings you that much closer to what you wish to accomplish + i can tell you —

one feels more accomplished when their goals are D.O.P.E.

it’s lazy, unconcerning, + unmotivating to speak vagueness over your life.

you know what you want, fam —

call it by name + act like it’s yours.

be you, be dope!
