tap into the luxuries in life.
take time for yourself today to do the things that make you feel good.
you deserve a different experience than what you’ve been offering yourself lately.
sure, you lotion your body daily, but are you deliberately soft with yourself + giving yourself a hand massage, a foot rub, a shoulder rub, + a facial?
yes, you wash your body, but did you take special care around the crevices of your belly button or the back of your ears or the skin between your hands + toes?
okay, so you had a hot beverage this morning, but how did you make it? haphazardly while rushing? or did you take your take to ensure each stir was filled with love + joy?
that food you plan on eating today — will you savor the flavor + chew every single morsel down to the bittiest pieces or are will you wolf it down like you always do?
luxury is in the moment, in this moment, + can be in every moment here after when you’re intentional about having it in your life.
you don’t have to experience a spa day to receive the luxuries of life — it’s not the only way to live a life of luxury, fam.
luxury today can look like:
- putting fresh linens on your bed
- using your time doing what you want to do with it without any of the rules or regulations you’ve been placing on yourself
- tidying up your living room before heading into another room
- reading a book uninterrupted for 30 minutes
- drinking high quality water — still, sparkling, or fruit infused — out of a champagne flute or wine glass
- cutting up fruits, veggies, + your other favorite snacks for a homemade charcuterie board
- tucking your phone away + simply enjoying the moment
luxe living is not a foreign concept that only the elite can afford to experience.
no, you are the definition of luxury.
you have a dope ass life, fam —
it’s time for you to fully tap into it.
be you, be dope!
