once you start, how do you keep the momentum going?
when you don’t feel like doing the task, how do you continue showing up for yourself?
you make a commitment, fam.
you decide that no matter what the circumstances happen to be, you are going to see your way through it all.
you decide that situations not going your way doesn’t automatically give you a free out to abandon ship.
you decide that challenges are… well, challenging + by design, take effort, energy, ingenuity, + focus.
anyone can make a promise + say they will keep it.
it takes a real one to make a promise + uphold it with purposeful action.
as difficult as it may be to start + start over, that’s usually the easiest part of the process.
showing up for yourself + others with your purpose on the top of mind day in + day out,
moment after moment,
in the trying times
+
yes, even in the times when you feel everything falling into place (especially in those times) —
that takes true commitment.
honor your commitments + follow through with them today.
be a walking example of what you believe commitment to mean by giving your time, energy, + focus to things that matter most to you.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
finish the statement: commitment to me is…
things to consider:
what does it look like in action?
what does it feel like in the moment?
what does it look like in your life right now?
