change your mindset so you can handle it

whew! aren’t you glad you didn’t get or don’t have every thing you’ve ever wanted?

take a moment to look back on past crushes,

think about what that name or face tattoo would look like right now,

+

imagine, for a moment, how different life would be if you actually did have a million dollars to your name at the age of seven

(would it really be different, though? maybe more or less resentment for the people who were responsible for handling your finances at that time, but … we don’t know so i digress 😂)

what you need comes at the exact moment you need it.

you may have seemingly fumbled that opportunity, but did you actually fumble that opportunity?

maybe, just maybe it was less about the opportunity at the time + more about changing your mindset so you can handle what’s to come. 😉

today, show gratitude for all that you have in this moment, for all the “bullets” you dodged, + for having the opportunity to reflect on how gracious life is when it presents you with a “no, not yet“.

for it’s in those “no, not yet” moments that we gain clarity, that we become more focused + intentional, + that we make decisions that can change the course of our lives that shifts toward + aligns with the desires of our hearts.

gratitude for the “good” comes easy —

what about the difficult moments that prepared us for this moment?

who you are now is a reflection of your past experiences.

+ considering how dope you are, fam, life can’t be all “bad”, can it? ☺️

be you, be dope!
