consider this “prep work”

what is it that you want more than anything right now?

this isn’t a rhetorical question, nor is it a trick question designed to entice you to settle.

think big.

you’ve already accepted + experienced the bare minimum —

now is the time to go all out, fam!

imagine yourself with exactly what you want, only imagine it from your point of view rather than how an onlooker would see your life play out (gotta get into character):

  • what do you see?
  • is there a fragrance wafting around? what does it smell like?
  • what exactly do you hear? children playing? freshly cut grass? oceanic waves crashing? birds chirping + trees rustling? a bustling city?
  • are you eating or drinking? can you taste the saltiness of the air or the smokiness of the public transport?
  • what exactly are you doing? think about how you’re moving from place to place, your walk, your talk, + your laughter. are you riding in a car? are you on a yacht? are you first class on a plane?

consider this prep work.

who would have thought daydreaming serves as a vital part in preparing you for living life on your own terms, yet here we are using our imaginations to prepare us for the lifestyle that we envision ourselves living.

only one more thing left to do: shifting your mindset.

for all of this (your vision) to come into fruition, you’ve gotta believe that all of it, down to the finest details, can happen for you.

forget what you’ve seen or experienced in the past, this is your now.

today, life can be different for you + it starts with the actions you choose to take now.

align your heart + mind with what you most desire + commit to journeying on the path that leads you to all that you’ve ever imagined.

today, choose to live in accordance with heart’s desire + you’re undoubtedly preparing yourself for one dope ass future.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

take 5-10 minutes to complete this visualization exercise.

visualize what you want more than anything right now.

imagine yourself from your point of view (so that means you imagine seeing life unfolding before your eyes) with exactly what it is that you want + answer the following questions:

  • what do i see?
  • is there a fragrance wafting around? what does it smell like?
  • what exactly do i hear?
  • what can i taste?
  • what exactly am i doing?

lastly, report on any + all actions that you’ve taken today that aligns with this visualization. how are you preparing yourself to get to this place?
