asking yourself “do i have to do …. today?” isn’t helpful.

it automatically puts you in a victim mindset —

do i have to walk the dog?

do i have to make that call?

do i have to workout today?

well… no, you don’t have to do anything, fam.

none of us have to do shit if we don’t wanna. 🤷🏾‍♀️

a different approach?

“what can i do to … today?”

or even this:

“i get to… today!”

these reframes subtlety shift you from a reactive to an active mindset. 

nothing’s happening to you, instead you’re making it happen, sis.

take back your power by initiating + employing best practices for your life. 

you aren’t some robot that blindly follows orders. 

take back your power of choice by choosing to live life on your own terms.

you get to do whatever you choose to do today.

be the victor, the hero in your story, + choose to seize the day!

be you, be dope!
