that “i’m excited to be here” type of energy

you’ve decided to spend time doing it, but you know what will make that time worth while?

deciding to do it in the best way you know how, fam.

your best is gonna differ from anyone else’s best because we come from different walks of life.

you’ve obtained skills along the way + you hold dual spaces for the knowledge you currently have + the knowledge you will acquire.

as a result, our best will differ in many ways; however, the effort we give toward doing something we’re passionate about is what i’m encouraging you to tap into today.

use that “i’m excited to be here today” energy,

that “put be in coach, i’m ready to showcase my skills” energy,

that “no matter the outcome, i had fun doing this with you” type of energy in all that you do today.

when you decide you’re going to focus your efforts + do something life changing (however big or small it may be), bring out the big guns by doing your absolute best.

do it with intention.

do it with passion.

do it with enthusiasm + vigor.

you set the tone for the outcome.

it feels different accomplishing a task when you do it begrudgingly vs. when you do it with the best energy you’ve got.

go to that place that loves everything about this life you’re living + channel that love into the mundane, into the “why i gotta do this?“, + into the “here we go again!” parts of your day.

you #minuswell do it the best way you know how from jump + bask in the energy that doing your best brings.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

what is the last thing that, regardless of the outcome, you had fun doing + won’t rule out the opportunity of doing again?

recall a time when you did something you absolutely hated doing, yet had a great outcome. how likely are you to do that again?

does it matter to you whether or not you get the desired outcome when you don’t love the process? why or why not?
