the easiest way

sometimes, it’s so much easier to go with the flow than it is to forge your own way or go against the grain.

we’re met with great difficulty doing what we consider “hard” things —

minding our business, standing up for ourselves, not falling victim to our anxieties + the made up stories about life —

yet, letting go of these things is what would best serve us in the long run.

you may not choose the easiest way today, sis; however, don’t allow that to discourage you to move forward with your choice.

you can do hard things.

you’re equipped + have the tools to make the rules of your life.

we all are tempted to take the path of least resistance, though we know it’s not always the best path to take.

before avoiding a situation or opportunity, ask yourself:

does it best serve me to avoid this right now?

dig a little deeper + see what’s actually going on with you:

are you afraid? if so, what are you afraid of? what’s the worse that can happen?

🗣 talk it out! figure out your why so that it won’t cause analysis paralysis.

you deserve to live a carefree life.

one where you are free to live on your own terms.

one where we all respect our own decisions + the rights of others.

one where are are all free to be ourselves sans the judgement.

even when it’s not the easiest way, carry on with the dope mindset of living freely + fully.

ultimately, place what matters most in the forefront of your decisions + keep pressing forward with the idea that you not only can, but you are creating the very change you want to see in this world by simply being you.

in the long run, it’s much harder keeping up the façade, fam.

be you, be dope!
