there are multiple perspectives to consider

there’s more to all of us than what meets the eye.

the way you see yourself may not always align with the way others see you + vice versa.

to you, that person who you cut you off in traffic is a total jerk-off.

maybe for them, they were rushing to the hospital to say their final good-byes.

to you, that cashier who didn’t greet you with a smile needs to “find another job they can be happier about”.

maybe for them, they are thinking about all the expenses they have right now + riddled with anxiety about it.

to you, that child who doesn’t want what you cooked better learn how to eat what’s in front of them or else.

maybe for them, they don’t like your cooking 😩 okay, okay, maybe they want to be included in meal prep, especially since that “or else” is in there (control, much?)

while other people’s actions may upset you, it doesn’t mean that how your interpret them is who they are.

we’re only privy to one side of the paradigm.

there are multiple perspectives to consider,

yes, even when it comes to you, *|FNAME|*.

today, ignite your courage + show compassion.

it’s easy to match energy. it’s way more challenging to take a step back, not assume or take anything personally, + if given the opportunity of conversation, get curious + listen to what that other person’s got to say.

give folks the benefit of the doubt.

shrug off the things that don’t matter.

lead with empathy + ask yourself:

who do i want to show up as today?

then be that person.

be you, be dope!
