where we’d like to be right now

there’s no having one without the other.

frustration breeds opportunity.

turmoil brings forth peace.

adversity begets joy.

embrace life as it is, fam.

you’d never know the importance of patience unless you’ve experienced the act of losing your cool.

it all serves a higher purpose for you, anyway, so why let what you deem as challenging + difficult overwhelm you?

life is constantly working for your good, even when it’s seemingly going bad.

know why?

nothing in this world is inherently good or bad, sis.

i get it — it’s hard to see our experiences as purposeful, especially when we’re in the thick of some heavy shit.

all experiences give us much needed feedback, helping us to identify where we currently are so that we can direct our efforts to where we’d like to be right now.

so, don’t be so hard on yourself, fam.

we all are going through it + having a very human experience.

surrender to the moment + understand you are doing your best…

+ your best is all that you can continue to do.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

recall a time today where you lost your cool.

what was that moment trying to tell you about your state of being?

what do you feel like you need more of as a result of that action?
