life can be disappointing.
small disappointments can turn into large disappointments + before you know it, you’re out here feeling discouraged + defeated.
but as disappointing as life can be, life has a way of still giving you options at what many would refer to as a dead end.
you see, disappointment is an opportunity in disguise. 🥸
it’s our job to see beyond our immediate outrage to uncover the real opportunity that awaits us.
when you come face-to-face with disappointment today, decide to investigate other options.
yes, you can sit in disappointment, but where will you thrive the most?
yes, you can settle for defeat, but are you willing to get back up again?
yes, you can feel discouraged, but will you allow it to encourage you to do something different?
feel your feelings, yes, + also understand that disappointment isn’t the end all, be all.
what is causing the disappointment isn’t how this ends for you.
you can still move forward,
you can still remain encouraged,
+
you can still win.
if anything, express gratitude that life doesn’t always happen how you expect it to happen because listen:
you have had opportunity upon opportunity + real life experiences to corroborate just how dope life is; beyond anything you’ve ever imagined.
now, you have the opportunity to experience life in a much different way, fam.
will you allow your disappointments to keep you from the life you’ve always wanted to live?
will you use it as a fuel to get all that you desire + more?
only you can decide.
be you, be dope!
